Local market |
|
There are several local markets that are open
every day throughout the year.
According to
the World Health Organisation, the Torrevieja area is the healthiest
place in Europe in which to live due to the microclimate created
by
the
salt
lakes and the surrounding
range
of
hills.
|
The climate is generally dry and boasts 305 days
of sunshine a year.
Several of the beaches are "Blue
Flag" with
fine sand and good bathing for families. The stretch between
Guardamar and La Mata is several miles of unbroken beach. |

and respiratory
complaints. |
